ACT

Newest Official Guide!

EVAN SAYS:

"In my opinion, The ACT (for college admissions) is more straightforward than the SAT, but not as 'fun.' The English and Math sections are based on how much grammar and math you know. The Reading and Science sections are more like an open book test of finding the answers. I would say the ACT essay is slightly better than the new SAT essay, because it allows you to have a perspective.

MATERIALS ADVICE:

"I recommend the Official ACT Prep Guide 2020, which is similar to previous versions that had as few as three practice tests. The 3rd edition "red book" and Princeton Review books offer more to chew on. Stay up on my blog for a future breakdown of these options."
