EVAN SAYS:
“The Middle Level test is 80% similar to the Upper Level, which is why some books blend the prep together. The test is worthwhile because it ensures that they know their basics for middle and high school.
MATERIALS ADVICE:
“Christa Abbott's 'Success' books on all levels of the SSAT test are a revelation, mixing each test concept with realistic sample questions as well as separate sections for proven test strategies. I even use her books on students not taking the SSAT, but whom I want to make sure did not miss a basic concept in school. The Tutorverse book is very good for straight drilling. In addition, the Official Guide from SSAT.org has the best setup with mini-orientations plus great practice tests."
